Matt Covington looking for First Win of the Season at Tulsa Speedway Nov 14

Will Matt Covington race to his First Win of the Season at the Dirt Down in T-Town?! Matt is currently in 3rd place, can he use this race as a step towards moving up the podium?!

Osage Casino & Hotel Tulsa Speedway is excited to host the first of a thrilling three-night event to close out the year for the ASCS series. The Dirt Down in T-Town finale at Tulsa Speedway for the American Sprint Car Series National Tour has been rescheduled for Thursday, Nov. 14, with an additional full show that day. The racing will include the Dash and the $6,000-to-win Feature previously scheduled while also adding a $4,000-to-win/$400-to-start event!

November 14 - FREE Admission for Everyone! $25 per car to park
Spectator Gates Open: 5PM, Hot Laps: 6:30PM, Racing: 7PM
Classes: ASCS Sprints (with local Sprint Cars welcome), Vetbox Containers Factory Stocks, USRA Tuners, and Dwarfs

This will lay the groundwork for an incredible four races across three days for the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, ahead of the Championship Banquet on Sunday Nov 17th! After the racing is done at Tulsa Speedway, the teams will make the 30 minute trip to Creek County Speedway for Friday and Saturday Nov 15-16. Creek County Speedway will host their annual Fuzzy’s Fall Fling, with a $4,000-to-win Feature on Friday. Before completing the season with the final race being a $10,000-to-win Feature on Saturday night! With ASCS stating the purse money to be paid out at approximately $100,000 for the three nights of racing!

Racers, Crew and Sponsors are set to attend the Series Banquet scheduled for Sunday November 17th, featuring a points fund totaling more than $150,000, in Tulsa. A $40,000 Champion Check will be awarded, meaning every point is vital for the weekend! This will be the first National Champion crowned under the World Racing Group banner. The Top 10 Finishers in the Standings will each receive their share of the fund as well.

A post made by ASCS stated: “After talking with [Tulsa Speedway promoter] Keith Haney, we were able to make lemonade out of lemons on this and put it on the same weekend with Creek County,” said Lonnie Wheatley, ASCS National Tour series director. “It makes for a big weekend for us to finish our year out with.”

We look forward to kicking the door open on a weekend filled with racing, friends and family!
